Screens Connect for Windows is not launching

If Screens Connect is no longer launching or you get an error similar to this one:

Try these possible solutions:

  1. Restart your PC or reinstall Screens Connect
  2. Make sure Screens Connect isn't blocked by a firewall, security software or anti-virus
  3. The issue may be that the settings file is corrupt or has some other problem. Try to delete the content found in C:\Users\[your user]\AppData\Local\Edovia_Inc
  4. Make sure that you're running the latest .Net framework
